- CoPAL is a coalition of Merrimack Valley and North Shore
volunteers whose mission is to promote animal welfare
through advocacy, education, and community action. Our
mission includes actions to: - Promote kindness and care for animals
- Support activities of local animal shelters
- Support activities of state animal welfare groups
- Educate public about animal needs
- Change laws to be more supportive of animals
- Support state animal advocacy
- Engage in community advocacy for animals
- Enable families in crisis and seniors to retain their pets
- Support the ending of pet overpopulation and economic
euthanasia - Support the animal-human bond
